Synopsis
The Wish is a contemporary novel about a fifteen-year-old girl named Jesse who is battling terminal cancer. When she is offered the chance to have one final wish granted, she decides she wants to create a digital experience of her life so that her family and friends can remember her and relive their memories together. To help make this happen, she is paired with Alex, a lonely young video game designer. As they work together on the project, an unexpected friendship develops that changes both of their lives.
